FastNet lets you download pages from the world wide web up to 5 times faster than normal. Here's how it works. When you click on a page to view it, your computer must download the html code in order for it to display on your computer. FastNet is a "behind the scenes" file compression program that compresses the file before it downloads to your computer and then uncompresses it once it is on your computer. The point is this, it takes less time to download a 25K file than it does a 40K file. This translates into less time for the files to transfer to your computer; therefore, faster access. Pages load faster.
      Each user will experience different speeds depending upon the speed of your computer, modem, connection, internet traffic and so on. Even each time you're online will vary. That is why we say it is "up to" 5X faster.
     The FastNet service costs $3 a month extra. So, we would just add $3 to your monthly bill.
     In order to try it out, you must:
         (1) Download the FastNet program,  
         (2) Install it on your computer,
         (3) We must activate the service on our servers to make it work. (You'll have to inform us to do that)
